Federal rules and regulations draft in the field of atomic energy use

Draft of the federal rules and regulations in the field of atomic energy use «Requirements to activities planning on personnel protection-related actions in the event of nuclear and radiation accidents on ships with nuclear reactors» is developed.

Draft document establishes requirements to planning of protection-related activities for personnel of ships with nuclear reactors in the event of nuclear and radiation accident; to the standard content of Activities plan on personnel actions and protection in case of accidents on ships and other floating vessels with nuclear reactors, including floating power units under their construction and commissioning and decommissioning; the procedure of Activities plan preparation, its coordination and approval.

Draft document is available on SEC NRS website in the «Regulatory Documents Drafts» section. This document will be posted on the official website of Rostechnadzor in the section «Development of regulatory legal acts of Rostechnadzor» in correspondence with para. 25 of «Procedure for development and approval of the federal rules and regulations in the field of atomic energy use in Rostechnadzor » (Order No. 267, dated by July 7, 2015).

The starting date for accepting conclusions following this draft document consideration is July 20, 2017. Final date for conclusions accepting is October 15, 2017.
