Government Decree on Cooperation with the National Authorities of Foreign Countries

On May 9, 2020 the Government Decree “About Cooperation with the National Authorities of Foreign Countries Involved in Industrial Safety Regulation on the Issues of Development of National Regulation Systems in the Field of Industrial Safety” comes into effect.

According to the Government Decree, the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia is the body authorized to cooperate with the national authorities of foreign countries involved in industrial safety regulation, which are operating, constructing or planning to construct hazardous industrial facilities under Russian designs, and also are operating or planning to operate the process equipment intended for the hazardous industrial facilities, on the issues of development of the national regulation systems in the field of industrial safety, including the development of the legal and regulatory framework, licensing and supervision systems in the mentioned field, as well as on the issues of arrangement of personnel training for industrial safety regulatory authorities.
