ФБУ «НТЦ ЯРБ» принимает участие в мероприятиях в рамках поддержки Соглашения между Федеральной службой по экологическому, технологическому и атомному надзору и Центром ядерной и радиационной безопасности Финляндии о сотрудничестве в области регулирования безопасности при использовании атомной энергии в мирных целях (подписано в г. Вене, 26 сентября 2005 г.)

SEC NRS is involved in the activities in frames of the Agreement between the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia and Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority of Finland (STUK) for the cooperation in the area of regulation of safe nuclear energy use for peaceful purposes.

By the order of Rostechnadzor SEC NRS specialists took part in the following events in 2014:

• Training course and seminar in Finland for the users of APROS software. Within the training course the specialists of the Finland Technical Research Centre (VTT) demonstrated the capabilities of the current version of APROS, and also conducted a brief training course on the use of the software to create thermal-hydraulic models of various systems.
• The seminar in Finland on discussion of acceptance criteria for RW storage and requirements to closure of RW disposal facilities. The seminar was held to share experience and information with the specialists of STUK in the issues of safety regulation at RW and SNF management, and also in approaches to establishment and substantiation of the acceptance criteria for different categories of RW subject to disposal, in evaluation of the compliance of RW with the acceptance criteria and safety regulation at closure of RW storage facilities, the specifics of safety regulation at SNF management in the Russian Federation and Finland were discussed as well.
