RB-156-19 and RB-157-19 were put into effect

On January 2019 two Safety Guides in the field of physical protection were enacted,namely: "Recommendations on Vulnerability Analysis for a Nuclear Facility" (RB-156-19) and "Recommendations on Evaluation of the Efficiency of Physical Protection Systems of a Nuclear Facility" (RB-157-19).

RB-156-19 "Recommendations on Vulnerability Analysis for a Nuclear Facility" is intended to be used by leadership and personnel in charge of physical protection of a nuclear facility and involved in the vulnarability analysis of the nuclear facility, and also by the specialized organizations participating in the vulnarability analysis. The Safety Guide was enacted on January 22, 2019 by the Order of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia of January 22, 2019 No. 26.

РБ-157-19 "Recommendations on Evaluation of the Efficiency of Physical Protection Systems of a Nuclear Facility" is intended to be used by regulatory bodies in the field of atomic energy use, by personnel of nuclear facilities and specialized organizations, involved in the evaluation of the efficiency of physical protection systems of nuclear facilities and participating in preparation of the efficiency evaluation report, and also by specialists of organizations-developers of efficiency evaluation methodologies and computer codes.

The Safety Guide was enacted on January 28, 2019 by the Order of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia of January 28, 2019 No. 32.
