On the second working day of the International Forum ATOMEXPO-2019 the roundtable "Responsible Consumption and Production: Quality Management in the Nuclear Industry’s Supply Chains for International Projects" took place

The expert community of the roundtable was represented by the leading specialists in the field of building up of quality management systems, the speakers among which were as follows: Mr. Alexey Ferapontov, Deputy Chairman of Rostechnadzor; Ms. Inna Melchenko, Director of the Department for Methodology and Procurement Organization of the State Corporation ROSATOM; Mr. Jacques Lemans, Director for Implementation of Integrated Projects in Nuclear Power at Schneider Electric; Mr. Deni Bourguignon, Manager for Nuclear Technologies and Development at NQSA; Mr. Jörg Aign, Executive Vice President of the Nuclear Technology Sector at TUV NORD; Mr. Andrey Butko, Chief Executive Officer of JSC RASU; Mr. Greg Kaser, Director of the Supply Chain Working Group at WNA; Mr. Pekka Pee, Senior Expert for Management Systems at IAEA.

The major areas of discussion were: industrial controlled certification scheme for quality management systems of organizations-suppliers as the basis condition for participation in industrial projects in various countries; efforts at the international level for combating pirate goods and adulteration of products in nuclear industry; differences between national and international regulations and standards in the international supply chains of the nuclear industry.
