Состоялось заседание секции № 3 «Безопасность объектов использования атомной энергии»

26 ноября 2018 года состоялось заседание секции № 3 «Безопасность объектов использования атомной энергии» Научно-технического совета Федеральной службы по экологическому, технологическому и атомному надзору.

The meeting of the Section 3 “Safety of nuclear installations” of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service took place on November 26, 2018.

The results of the research and development work carried out in SEC NRS in 2018 in the framework of state contracts on the activities of the Federal Target Program “Nuclear and Radiation Safety in 2016–2020 and until 2030” were reviewed at the meeting.

Under the Federal Target Program “Nuclear and Radiation Safety in 2016–2020 and until 2030” research and development work was carried out with reference to the following activities (Rostechnadzor acts as the state customer):

• “Development of complex methods for analysis of nuclear installations nuclear and radiation safety including for the purposes of enhancement of legal regulatory framework for safety regulation of nuclear legacy facilities”,
• “Development of methods for assessment of condition and prognosis of radiation exposure (including accidental exposure) of nuclear legacy facilities with the usage of abilities of the Rostechnadzor Information and Analytical Centre”,
• “Collection, systematization and analysis of information on the fulfillment of commitments resulting from the Convention on Nuclear Safety and the Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel management and on the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management concerning nuclear legacy facilities”.

Key results of the performed work were presented by Mr Rashet Sharafutdinov, SEC NRS Deputy Director.
