RB-158-19 has entered into force

19.07.2019 On July 19, 2019 the safety guide in the field of atomic energy use “Recommendations for planning and justification of technical maintenance reduction, decommissioning of certain systems and elements, changes in the number of operating personnel of NPP unit shut down for decommissioning” (RB-158-19) entered into force.

The Safety Guide covers recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service on compliance with the requirements of federal rules and regulations in the field of atomic energy use concerning safety justification of technical maintenance reduction, decommissioning of certain systems (elements), changes in the number of operating personnel in preparation for decommissioning of NPP Unit.

The Safety Guide RB-158-19 is applicable to NPP units shut down for decommissioning.

The Safety Guide is aimed to be used by engineering and operating organization involved into design and operation of NPP units during their preparation for decommissioning.
