RB-162-20 has been put into effect

On March 11, 2020 the Safety Guide RB-162-20 “Recommendations on Fulfillment of the Requirements to Physical Protection of Nuclear Installations and Nuclear Material Storage Facilities in the Process of Design and Construction” has been put into effect.

The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on fulfillment of the requirements to physical protection of nuclear installations and nuclear material storage facilities specified in NP-083-15 in the process of design, construction and modernization. The term “construction” herein means the activity on erection of buildings, facilities and structures of a nuclear facility, involving construction activities, as well as mounting and adjustment works for the equipment of the physical protection system.

RB-162-20 is intended to be used by specialists of organizations involved in the activities of design, development and upgrading of physical protection systems of nuclear installations and nuclear material storage facilities, as well as by physical protection personnel of nuclear facilities.
