Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of January 25, 2022 No. 45

The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of January 25, 2022 No. 45 «On licensing of activities in the field of use of the sources of ionizing radiation (generating) (except for case if these sources are used in medical activities)» was adopted.

The Decree approves the Provision on licensing of activities in the field of use of the sources of ionizing radiation (generating) (except for case if these sources are used in medical activities).

The Decree also recognizes the following documents as revoked:

• Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 2, 2012 No. 278 "On licensing of activities in the field of use of the sources of ionizing radiation (generating) (except for case if these sources are used in medical activities)» (The Russian Federation Code, 2012, No. 15, Article 1791);
• Item 23 of the amendments introduced into the acts of the Government of the Russian Federation approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 6, 2015 No. 201 "About Amendments to Certain Acts of the Government of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2015, No. 11, Article 1607);
• Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 19, 2020 No. 1883 "About Amendments to Certain Acts of the Government of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2020, No. 48, Article 7738).

The Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation enters into force on September 1, 2022 and will be valid until September 1, 2028.
