Enactment of the Methodological Recommendations

On February 11, the "Methodological Recommendations on Permanent State Supervision at Nuclear Research Installations" were enacted.

The document contains recommendations on the sequence for planning and implementation of the permanent state supervision to be performed in compliance with the "Administrative Regulations on Execution by the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia of the State Function of Federal State Supervision in the Field of Atomic Energy Use" approved by the Order of Rostechnadzor of June 7, 2013 No. 248.

The permanent state supervision is to be carried out by the authorized officials of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Departments, as well as by the officials of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Divisions of the Interregional Territorial Departments for Nuclear and Radiation Safety.

The Methodological Recommendations were intended to be used by authorized officials and contain recommendations on planning and conduct of inspections and certain actions to perform supervision over nuclear research installations included into the "List of Nuclear Facilities to be under Permanent State Supervision" approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of April 23, 2012 No. 610-r.
