SEC NRS delegation took part in the work of “EUROSAFE-2012” Forum and ETSON meeting

12.11.2012 SEC NRS delegation headed by A.A. Khamaza, Director of SEC NRS, took part in the work of the annual EUROSAFE-2012” Forum, which took place on November 5-6, 2012 in Brussels (Belgium). The main topic of the event is “Towards Enhanced Robustness in Nuclear Safety”.

The Forum agenda included the plenary session and five workshops on the following topics:

Nuclear Installation Safety – Evaluation;
Nuclear Installation Safety – Researches;
Radiation Protection, Environment and Emergency Preparedness;
Waste and Decommissioning & Dismantling;
Security of Nuclear Installations and Materials.

Based on the results of the Forum the meeting of the Program Committee was held to identify the major tasks of the next event, which is expected to be held in November 2013, in Germany. Moreover, on November 7 the meeting of the General Assembly of the European Technical Safety Organization Network (ETSON), and the meetings of the Project Initiation Working Group (PING) and ETSON Research Group (ERG) were held.
