Enactment of RB-015-22

On August 11, 2022 the Safety Guide RB-015-22 “Recommendations on Selection of Reference Units of Standard NPP Thermomechanical Equipment Applied for Lifetime Management Activities” was put into effect.

The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on selection of reference units of standard NPP thermomechanical equipment and pipelines applied for lifetime management activities in compliance with the requirements of NP-096-15 in the course of their operation.

RB-015-22 covers NPP thermomechanical equipment, pipelines, valves and pumps operating under pressure and subject to be included into the lifetime management program in accordance with the requirements of NP-096-15.

The Safety Guide does not cover equipment and pipelines out of the scope of NP-089-15, as well as electrical equipment, and I&C of NPPs.

RB-015-22 is intended to be applied by operating organizations, as well as by organizations engaged in the development and implementation of lifetime management program for NPP equipment and pipelines.
