The TSO International Conference opened in Beijing

International Conference on challenges faced by Technical and Scientific Support Organizations (TSOs) has started the work in Beijing (China) on October 27, 2014.
Russia is represented by the Rostechnadzor (A. Ferapontov, Deputy Chairman), SEC NRS, IBRAE (L. Bolshov, Director) and VO Safety.
On the first day Alexander Khamaza, SEC NRS Director, made a speech on Response to the IAEA Action Plan on Nuclear Safety by TSO within Session “The role of TSO in relation to Fukushima Daiichi accident”.
The TSO Conference takes place in Beijing on October 27-31, 2014 and is organized by IAEA, TSO Forum through the Hosting Party (Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center) in cooperation with ETSON, the member of which SEC NRS has been since 2012. About 300 participants represent foreign regulating authorities, TSOs, NPP operators and scientific institutions and other organizations dealing with nuclear energy utilities.
The IAEA TSO Forum Steering Committee (member – A. Khamaza) and TSO Conference Programme Committee (members – A. Khamaza and D. Mistryugov, SEC NRS Head International Relations) made much work to organize this international event.
