The 56th meeting of the Committee on Safety of Nuclear Installations (CSNI) of the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (NEA/OECD) was held in December 3 – 4, 2014 in Paris (France). A. Khamaza, Director of SEC NRS, took part in this meeting.
In the course of the meeting the participants were presented with the reports about the results of activities of the CSNI working groups and their future plans, there were also discussed issues related to activity of European Network on Operational Experience Feedback for Nuclear Power Plants, the Senior Expert Group on Safety Research Opportunities Post-Fukushima (SAREF), safety assessment of NPP reactor installations and conduct of benchmark studies of the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (BSAF).
