The MDEP VVERWG meeting organized by SEC NRS was held in Sosnovy Bor

21.05.2015 The 4th meeting of the VVER Working Group of the Multinational Design Evaluation Programme (MDEP VVERWG) was held in Sosnovy Bor in the period May 19-20, 2015 participated by representatives from ТАЕК (Turkey), STUK (Finland), Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (NEA OECD) and SEC NRS.

In the context of the MDEP VVERWG the meeting with the participation of representatives of Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC, Atomenergoprojekt OJSC and Leningrad NPP-2 was held to share information on the progress of construction of Leningrad NPP-2 and Novovoronezh NPP-2 units and to discuss issues related to specifics of new VVER designs being and planned to be constructed in Russia, India, Turkey and Finland.

On May 21 a technical visit to the Leningrad NPP-2 Unit 1(under construction) took place.

Arrangements to the meeting were organized by SEC NRS under the active support of the Leningrad NPP-2.
