=== On October 9, 2017 the Federal Safety Regulations “General Safety Provisions for Nuclear Power Installations of Ships and other Vessels” (NP-022-17) came into effect. The Regulations cover the issues of safety of ships and other floating vessels with nuclear reactors onboard for all stages of their lifecycle. The Regulations were issued to substitute the Federal Safety Regulations “General Safety Provisions for Nuclear Power Installations of Ships” (NP-022-2000). Order of Rostechnadzor of September 4, 2017 No. 351 “About Approval of the Federal Safety Regulations in the Field of Atomic Energy Use “General Safety Provisions for Nuclear Power Installations of Ships and other Vessels”” registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia on September 27, 2017 under the registry No. 48344.
