IAEA hosted the 3rd meeting of the Programme Committee in frames of the International TSO Conference

On April 16 – 19, 2018 the IAEA hosted the 3rd meeting of the Programme Committee of the International Conference of Technical and Scientific Support Organizations (TSO Conference) and the 13th Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Technical and Scientific Support Organization Forum (TSOF).

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Poland, Norway, the Republic of South Africa, Ukraine, USA. The delegation from the Russian Federation was headed by Alexander Khamaza, Director of SEC NRS.

In frames of the 3rd meeting of the Programme Committee preparation to the International TSO Conference took place: annotations from papers were selected for the TSO Conference, the Conference agenda was updated, Chairmen were assigned for the sessions. During the meeting the results of the Workshop on Building Technical and Scientific Capabilities in Embarking Countries of the Technical and Scientific Support Organization Forum (TSOF), which was held within April 9-13, 2018, were discussed.

The Steering Committee of the Technical and Scientific Support Organization Forum considered the issues related to the TSO Conference. It was reported about the publication of the Technical Document IAEA-TECDOC-1835, which was developed with participation of SEC NRS.

The next meeting of the Steering Technical Committee has been planned for January 2018.
