RF Government Decree No. 129 of 12.02.2020

On February 22, the Russian Federation Government Decree No. 129 of 12.02.2020 “On Amendments to Some Acts of the Russian Federation Government on the Issues of the State Functions Execution of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia”.

The Decree introduces amendments to the following acts of the RF Government

1. “Provision on the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia” approved by the Russian Federation Government Decree N 401 of July 30, 2004 “About the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service” (amendments to sub-item 5.8).

   New revision of sub-item 5.8

   “5.8. Arranges and maintains mobilization preparation and mobilization in the Service, as well as controls and coordinates the activities of its territorial bodies with regard to mobilization preparation and mobilization, and also mobilization preparation of organizations, the activity of which is involved in the activity of the Service, or of those under the Service supervision;”.

2. “Provision on delineation of powers of the federal executive bodies participating in implementation of international obligations of the Russian Federation in the field of chemical demilitarization” approved by the Russian Federation Government Decree N 421 of July 2, 2007 “About Delineation of Powers of the Federal Executive Bodies Participating in Implementation of International Obligations of the Russian Federation in the Field of Chemical Demilitarization” (sub-items 7, 10 and 13 of item 19 repealed).
3. The Russian Federation Government Decree N 333 of May 4, 2008 “About Competence of the Federal Executive Bodies, the Activity of which is under Controls of the Russian Federation Government in the Field of Counter-Terrorism” (amendments to sub-item “a” of item 7).

   New revision of sub-item “a” of item 7:

   “а) participates within the limits of the established competence in implementation of powers in the field of nuclear counter-terrorism;”.
