Enactment of RB-166-20

On July 30, 2020 the Safety Guide RB-166-20 "Recommendations on Evaluation of Errors and Uncertainties of the Results of Computed Safety Analyses for Nuclear Power Plants" came into effect.

The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on evaluation of errors and uncertainties of the results of deterministic safety analyses for nuclear power plants calculated using computer codes to substantiate safety.

The Safety Guide RB-166-20 is intended to be applied by the employees of the operating organizations, structural departments of Rostechnadzor, and other organizations performing activities in the field of atomic energy use.
