ETSON General Assembly extended the powers of Dr Alexander Khamaza as the Vice-President

05.11.2020 The regular meetings of the Board and the General Assembly of the European Technical Safety Organizations Network (ETSON) took place on November 3-4, 2020 via videoconference.

SEC NRS was represented by Alexander Khamaza, SEC NRS Director and ETSON Vice-President, and Denis Mistryugov, Head of International Cooperation Division.

The Board and GA members discussed the strategic development of ETSON, cooperation with IAEA, WENRA, European Commission and its JRC. The meetings participants discussed and approved ongoing activity and plans of ETSON working and expert groups, including Communication Group chaired by Denis Mistryugov.  

The meetings participants were informed that IAEA is on the process of making final decision on the next International Conference on Challenges Faced by Technical and Scientific Support Organizations (TSOs) planned to take place in Saint-Petersburg, Russia in October 2022.

Due to strong performance of acting ETSON Board the General Assembly unanimously decided to extent the powers of its members for a three-year period. Thus, Dr Alexander Khamaza, Director of SEC NRS, was reelected as the Vice-President to a next term.
