The EUROSAFE Forum will take place on November 22-23, 2021 in Paris, France

The European Technical Safety Organisations Network (ETSON) on its website announced the hosting of the annual international conference on nuclear safety and security, radioactive waste management and radiological protection (the EUROSAFE Forum) on November 22-23, 2021 in Paris, France. The key topic of the upcoming EUROSAFE Forum will be “Nuclear and Radiation Safety in a disruptive world: scientific expertise, research, and dialogue with society”. During the event, it’s planned to discuss the results of the IAEA International Conference on a Decade of Progress After Fukushima-Daiichi and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for the nuclear industry, as well as the role of technical and scientific support organizations in making regulatory decisions in a disruptive world. In addition, information will be provided on the hosting of the IAEA International Conference on Challenges faced by Technical and Scientific Support Organizations (TSO) in Enhancing Nuclear Safety and Security in St. Petersburg, Russia in October 2022. The Forum program includes a plenary session, panel sessions and 4 seminars on the following topics: - nuclear installation safety assessment and research; - waste management, decommissioning and disposal; - radiation protection, environment and EP & R; - nuclear installation and materials security. The EUROSAFE Forum is a free event. Online registration for the event will open in June 2021. SEC NRS being one of the Forum organizers invites you and your colleagues to take part in this event.
