Registration by Rospatent of the Computer Code "Calculator of Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel (v2.0)" and the Database "Database for Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel (v2.0)"

15.06.2021 Computer Code

The Computer Code "Calculator of Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel (v2.0)" was introduced into the Registry of Computer Codes under the registry No. 2021617328 dated of 13.05.2021.

The Database "Database for Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel (v2.0)" was introduced into the Registry of Databases under the registry No. 2021621149 dated of 31.05.2021.

The Computer Code "Calculator of Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel (v2.0)" implements methods and approaches specified in the RB-093-20 "Radiation and Thermophysical Characteristics of Spent Nuclear Fuel for VVER Reactors and High Power Channel Type Reactors" (RB-093-20) (approved by the Order of Rostechnadzor of 11.03.2020 No. 106) with the amendments introduced by the Order of Rostechnadzor of 04.02.2021 No. 46.

The Computer Code is intended for express evaluation of the concentration, activity and heat release of major radionuclides contained in the spent nuclear fuel (SNF) of VVER-1000, VVER-1200, VVER-440 and RBMK-1000 reactors, depending on the nuclear fuel burnup depth and initial enrichment, as well as residual heat release of SNF of the mentioned reactor installations in terms of the nuclear fuel burnup depth, delay time and initial enrichment.
