Enactment of RB-106-21

On August 30, 2021 the Safety Guide RB-106-21 "Recommended Methods for Calculation of Parameters Necessary to Develop and Establish Standards for Maximum Permissible Emissions of Radioactive Substances into Atmosphere" was put into effect.

The Safety Guide contains methods recommended by the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia for calculation of parameters necessary to develop and establish standards for maximum permissible emissions of radioactive substances into atmosphere.

The Safety Guide RB-106-21 covers nuclear facilities emitting radioactive substances into atmosphere.

The Safety Guide is intended to be applied by organizations involved in development of draft standards for radioactive substances emissions into atmosphere, and also by organizations performing safety review of the mentioned drafts.
