Meeting of Session No. 7 "Physical Chemistry, Geochemistry and Hydrogeology" of the Rostechnadzor Expert Council on Validation of Computer Codes

29.09.2021 The results of the review for the following computer codes were addressed:

• "GeRa/V2" intended for simulation of transfer of radionuclides, chemically-active and neutral impurities in pore liquid, calculation of the dynamics of radioactive and chemical contamination aureola, solving of tasks of heat transfer and thermal convection (Developer of the computer code – IBRAE RAS);

• "MASKA-LM" intended for simulation of an oxide layer behaviour on the surfaces of pipelines and elements of the fast neutron reactor structure cooled by lead and lead-bismuth (Developer of the computer code – JSC "SSC RF - IPPE").

Reference information: Rostechnadzor Order No. 450 of 20.09.2018 states that SEC NRS is in charge of the activity on the review of computer codes.

The Expert Council on Validation of Computer Codes was found under the auspices of Rostechnadzor for implementation of the Article 8 of the "Review Procedure for Computer Codes applied to Build Cumputational Models for Processes Affecting Safety of Nuclear Facilities and(or) Activities in the Field of Atomic Energy Use" approved by Rostechnadzor Order No. 325 of 30.07.2018 (registered by the Ministry of Justice of Russia on 12.11.2018 under the No.52650).

Provisions on the Expert Council approved by Rostechnadzor Order No. 655 of 27.12.2018. The Expert Council major tasks are to evaluate the results of review of computer codes, as well as to provide proposals on the content of draft validation certificates for computer codes.
