The IX International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists "Team-2021"

14.10.2021 The topic of the Conference was "Youth solutions for achieving leadership in nuclear industry field at the global power market under economy transformation epoch".

The Russian and foreign specialists from engineering and design organizations, machine factories, scientific and research institutes participated in the Conference "Team-2021".
The Conference work was arranged to be divided into Sessions, where participants were to present their reports in the format of round tables, discussions, and trainings. Visits to industrial as well as to scientific and research facilities of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Region nuclear industry were organized for the Conference participants.

Ms. Anna Vladimirovna Pantyukhina, Junior Researcher of SEC NRS Strength Division, presented her report on the topic "Alternative physico-empirical model of radiation embrittlement of metal of VVER-440 reactor pressure vessel" at the Session "Justifying calculations for structures, systems and components (SSC)". Her report was recognized as the best report in the Session, and she was awarded by a diploma for the top level quality of the scientific and practical work performed, as well as for her contribution to youth solutions for achieving leadership in nuclear industry field at the global power market under economy transformation epoch.

Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists is held every two years since 2009.

The goal of the Conference "Team-2021" was:

• to create a scientific environment for upgrading of the scientific and engineering potential of young scientists in the division and industrial field;
• to demonstrate team work via arranging communications and engagement among representatives of the scientific environment and young scientists;
• to offer an opportunity to young scientists to demonstrate their achievements and discuss them in the scientific community;
• to share experience, to upgrade scientific and engineering potential and professional behaviour of young scientists;
• to get to know various technologies, approaches, proposals of young scientists and specialists from the nuclear industry field.
